Tomorrow we're driving around 10 hours to our friend's house to buy a whole cow's worth of beef to split with three other friends. Normally I'd just go for the cheaper stuff at the base commisary. However, these friends only provide 100% grassfed beef. Additionally I need excuses to go visit them too! :) What I'd really like is to have a good friend like that of someone who raised grassfed beef and only lived an hour or so (or less) away! :) Having just come back from a month long trek to Malaysia and back I'm not super excited about the drive - but I want to see my friends (and we're out of hamburger!). Of course we're considering ditching our planned trip down to see some relatives in LA next week just so we can stay home and practice being a family! :) Just seems like we've been playing catch-up for the last 6 or 7 months or so and can't quite get there. Of course, not that we'll ever "get there" but one can hope! Must have goals afterall! I feel like I'm rambling now so I'll pause here today and aim for more coherent thoughts next time - must be time for pregnancy nap #2!
