Sounds more fun than Bleak House. Could be. I haven't read the book before... but this week has been bleak!
I started getting sick last Thursday evening. Had a full blown sore throat and fever by Friday Night. Continued with that through Sunday. Still coughing on Monday, but better. Then the kids started getting sick.
The Princepessa got the fever on Monday and we've been holding her almost non-stop since (her fever went away Tues night).
Tiger started coughing on Mon night and had a light fever Tues and Wed (meanwhile sister's cough continued)
Sundance picked up the fever Wednesday and Thursday, along with the lovely barking cough of croup all night Wednesday night.
Today, everyone's got lingering sore throats and varying degrees of coughs. All the boys are playing like normal and pretty healthy. It's the poor Princepessa who can't really explain what's wrong who's so miserable.
I've spent large parts of every day sitting on the big chair with 1-4 kids sleeping in my arms, on my lap, wherever they fit. We've washed blankets over and over. We've not eaten much.
I think we're on the upswing now though. Trying to make plans to go bowling tomorrow for Tiger's fourth Birthday - which is Sunday.
Really looking forward to going to church on Sunday. I feel like I haven't been in YEARS. It's only been a week.
Keep fingers crossed that poor Butch doesn't catch it (so far nothing). Although with everyone else better, he would be pretty easy to care for!
